How Can We Help Refugees ?

You can help by purchasing our handmade items. 50% of sales are used for our work with refugees. My husband and I have volunteered overseas and in the US with refugee groups, and also support individuals and families of refugees, trying to start a new life. Be a part of this by making a purchase. Then you too will be supporting refugees in Lesvos and Athens, Greece and Calais, France. In addition, we've also supported refugees in Afghanistan, Turkey, Bangladesh. USA and other countries as well.

We donated 22 sewing machines, scissors, material, thread, needles and paid rent for a sewing school for 22 widows in Kabul. Afghanistan. When they graduated, they were able to sell clothes they made at the bazzar to feed their children. When the Taliban took over in August of 2021, we helped 31 families and fed them for 8 months. Our sewing school has now closed, due to the Taliban and our two teachers needing to leave Afghanistan for their safety.

We also have supported , and when funds allow, continue to support the following small non profit organizations, working to help refugees to survive in Lesvos, Athens , Greece, Calais and Paris, France and a variety of other places:

“Home for All”, Katerina and Nikos, ( Lesvos, Greece)

“One Human Race”, Rando Wagner, (Athens, Greece)

“Fund a Food Drop”, Hilda Orr, (Athens, Greece)

“Care4Calais”, Clare Mosley, (Calais , Paris , France and England)

“Phone Credit for Refugee”, Jape JP, ( many countries )

We have also supported Refugees in the USA.

About our products: Our goal is to raise money for refugees with handmade items. Many of our hats are hand knitted. Our goal is to help the environment by also re-purposing gently used items; all items are sanitized before using.

Our women’s scarves and scarf pins are all hand made by my husband and me.

All the paintings for sale are my creations.

The wood sculptures are my husband Andre’s creation.

Thank you for your support!
